# See your first results as they happen

> Brands track their first partner, traffic, sale and payout on Get started; partners track their first click, commission and payout on Programs; sign-up asks brand or partner first.

See your first results as they happen: brands on [Get started](https://affitor.com/brand/get-started), partners on [Programs](https://affitor.com/partner).

Until this week, setup progress showed up in several places, and nothing told you when your program or your link first worked. Now each side has one card that marks its first results, with one next step.

## How it works

- **Pick your side first**: sign-up asks brand or partner before the form.
- **Brands**: four first results on Get started, once the program is live.
- **Partners**: three first results on Programs, each with its date.

## Pick your side

[Sign-up](https://affitor.com/signup) asks **I'm a brand** or **I'm a partner** before the form, and the next screen has your answer already picked.

## First results, for brands

Once your program is live, **First results** on Get started tracks four steps: **Your first partner joined**, **A partner sent you traffic**, **Your first sale from a partner** and **You paid your first partner**. The next step to reach shows what to do, with a button such as **Invite partners**, **Share program** or **Go to commissions**. Before your program is live, the card says these start once it is.

## Start earning, for partners

Once your partner setup is done, **Start earning** at the top of Programs tracks three steps: **Someone clicked your link**, **You earned your first commission** and **You got paid**, each with the date it happened. If money is waiting and you have no payout method, the card asks you to add one. Use **Hide this list** when you no longer need it.
